It provides a space to build connections, exchange knowledge and contribute to research that supports cleaner air, better health and reduced inequalities in Scotland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Air pollution challenges require different perspectives. By connecting ECRs across environmental and social sciences, health, engineering, urban planning and economics, we aim to encourage collaboration across disciplinary and institutional boundaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through SHAPE+, early career researchers will have opportunities to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Build connections<\/strong> with fellow ECRs, established researchers and stakeholders across policy and practice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Share their research<\/strong> and exchange ideas through network activities, research updates and blogs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Shape research priorities<\/strong> by contributing to discussions about emerging air quality and health challenges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contribute to shared outputs<\/strong>, including evidence reviews, policy briefs and the SHAPE+ position paper.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Develop future collaborations<\/strong> that respond to practical needs and support their research careers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our ambition is to support a connected community of researchers who work with stakeholders to ask relevant questions, communicate evidence clearly and help translate findings into action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3\" style=\"color:#1d811f\">Get involved<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are you an early career researcher interested in air quality, health or inequalities?
