Our work will synthesise existing evidence by examining what research already tells us, where important gaps remain, and what this means for action in Scotland. Initial areas of interest include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How do transport emissions affect exposure and health? What can existing evidence tell us about measures such as low-emission zones, and how their benefits are distributed?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How do activities such as domestic burning contribute to air pollution? What are the implications for exposure, health and approaches to reducing emissions?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How do air pollution, deprivation and poor health interact? How can research support action that protects vulnerable groups, including children, and reduces unequal health impacts?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How can climate and net-zero policies also improve air quality and health? Where might competing priorities or unintended consequences require closer attention?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
